WHAT I WANT FROM LIFE..........

What I want from life….
Is a constant strife,
The opportunity to prove myself.
To do justice to my existence
To do what is right and to stand up for my beliefs

To be the oil that burns in a lamp,
To be the surf that erodes the rocks
To be the mainstay in someone’s life
To be one in strife
.
To live like a beggar
And feel like a king.
To feel hunger and enjoy the last morsel
To feel the uncomplicated love of all that is innocent and mild
To be blind and yet see
To feel and writhe in pain,
To understand and learn all
To stumble and fall and yet again rise


To take destiny by surprise
To carve my own niche
To look into eyes and find them not vacant
To boldly face this world
And say I am the ONE
To undo all the wrongs done

To swoon, cry and laugh
To bear love and hate
To be the calm waters on a moonlit night
To be the fiery fires in the bowels of the earth
To be the enigmatic mountains ever standing guard

I want the time to stand still
And do my will
Foolish thing to wish for
Naïve for even a child to think so
But then conviction rules the world
It’s this belief that moves mountains
And this belief that will power my will
Coz I have a lot to accomplish still…
